Midwest Association for Medical Equipment Services (MAMES) is
dedicated to providing membership educational opportunities, state/federal
legislative involvement and membership communication. Furthermore,
MAMES is the forum for member input and networking opportunities.

MAMES provides state and regional educational opportunities
with an annual Spring and Fall
Convention and Exhibition that includes vendor exhibits.
In addition, MAMES sponsors various educational seminars
through out the year, with reduced rates for MAMES members!
MAMES also participates in national HME association seminars
and helps coordinate other state meetings. We also have a vast network
of other HME associations we work with.

Receive timely and pertinent state and federal legislative information
furnished through the MAMES' Web site and the fax and email
network.
State legislative chairpersons provide leadership on state issues.
MAMES facilitates state association grassroots networking,
and is an active member of the Region B and Region D Durable Medical
Equipment Regional Carrier (DMERC) Advisory Committees.
MAMES is a member of the American
Association for Homecare.

Announcements and information are supplied in MAMES' weekly
newsletter, Monday FYI. The newsletter is delivered by fax or email
for members. National and state regulatory issues are posted and
archived on the Web site.
Through the "Members Only" portion of the MAMES'
Web site, members enjoy up-to-date and archived Monday FYI's, pertinent
federal and state legislative issues, Membership Lookup Service
and a Classified Ads Service for placing sale items and photos of
medical equipment.
The MAMES board is composed of leaders in the HME industry
from - Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota
and South Dakota and promotes membership and involvement. MAMES
also provides a liaison between allied medical equipment vendors
with an associate board member and vendor committee. Manufacturers
and wholesalers are encouraged to join the MAMES
team as associate members. |
